Ingredients

  • 4 ripe bananas firm and just ripe
  • 1 tablespoon oil or spray
  • Salt to taste

Method

  1. Using a sharp knife, slice your bananas into about 1/8 inches thick and line them up. You can use a baking sheet or a large plate
  2. Spray the top of the banana slices with your oil. Or you can easily use a pastry brush to spread your oil on the surface.
  3. Then sprinkle with salt.
  4. Flip the banana slices to the other side.
  5. Repeat the process with oil and salt on the other side.
  6. Place the slices of bananas in the air fryer basket one by one. Make sure that the slices do not overlap. You may need to do them in batches if there isn't enough room
  7. Cook for 12 minutes at 360° F.
  8. Take your basket out and let the banana chips cool for a bit (about five minutes.) Remove the chips from the air fryer basket with a spatula and put them on a wire rack to continue cooling for a couple of minutes.
  9. Add extra salt if needed.
  10. Serve
