Method
For glaze
- Combine ingredients for the glaze and set aside.
For ham
- Place ham skin side up in a roasting pan. Bake at 325F for 2 hours.
- Remove skin from ham and score fat in diamond shapes
- Stick cloves into ham
- Combine glaze mixture and spread over ham
- Return to oven and bake for another 20 - 30 minutes, basting ham occasionally.
- Add pineapple rings to ham close to the last baste of ham
Notes
If using salted/cured ham you will need to desalt it prior to cooking. Soak it submerged in water for 24 hours, then remove from liquid and pat dry.
