Method
- Wash and remove the head and ends of the carrots and then peel them.
- Chop the carrots into about 2-inch pieces, along with the ginger into pieces.
- Add to blender, then add the water to the blender and blend till extremely fine.
- Pour into a sieve and/or with a cheesecloth, squeeze out all the juice from the blended carrot mixture.
- Combine milk, carrot juice, nutmeg, and essence and mix well.
- Served chilled or over ice.
Notes
If you want to make carrot juice without milk: Combine everything else but the milk and sweeten to your liking. Take half a lime and squeeze the juice and mix. Serve chilled.
