Ingredients

  • 500 ml orange juice
  • 500 ml guava juice
  • 250 ml white rhum agricole
  • 1/2 to 1 cup Demerara syrup to taste
  • 2 tablespoons grenadine per glass optional

Method

  1. In a large pitcher, combine the orange juice, guava juice, and white rhum agricole.
  2. Add 1/2 cup of the cooled Demerara syrup and stir well. Taste and add more until you reach your preferred sweetness.
  3. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
  4. Stir before serving, then pour into individual glasses over ice or serve chilled.
  5. If using grenadine, slowly pour 2 tablespoons down the inside of each glass. Allow it to settle toward the bottom for a layered color effect. Avoid stirring to preserve the colors.
