Method
- Cut diagonal slices, about 1" thick
- Heat pan on medium-high heat
- Add oil to the pan (about 1 inch in depth).
- Add the slices of plantains to the pan, making sure not to overcrowd.
- Fry until golden (about 2 minutes).
- Turn slices over slices over and fry for another 2 minutes.
- Remove plantains from the oil and place them on a plate with paper towels to drain any excess oil.
- Serve
