Method
For ginger syrup
- In a heavy pan, bring sugar, water, and ginger to a boil, stirring until the sugar is dissolved
- Simmer mix for 10 minutes, stirring off and on
- Steep the mixture off of the heat for about 10 minutes
- Strain syrup into a container. Discard ginger slices
- Chill syrup
To make punch
- Mix juices together
- Add ginger syrup and mix
- Add sparkling water
- Serve over ice
Notes
- Sparkling water can be omitted if you want a stronger ginger drink
