Mix the dumpling ingredients to form a dough and set aside.
In a strong pot or pressure cooker, add cleaned and seasoned beef with green seasoning, garlic, and 4 cups of water. Cook until the beef is tender.
Add pumpkin, carrots, potatoes, onion, and pimentos. Cook for 15–20 minutes on medium heat.
Stir in green onions, black pepper, bouillon cube, pepper, and butter.
Drop dumplings into the soup. Add salt to taste.
Simmer until dumplings float to the top. Taste and adjust the seasoning before serving.
